How to replace deleted pins from the approval process
Pins are only added to the approval page when they are created through an AutoPin or RSS feed, as this provides an extra layer of review before scheduling.
For other workflows—such as automation batches or manual pin generation—the pins will appear on the Generate page, where you can review them and choose to schedule, download, or publish them to Pinterest.
If you’re working with automations and delete a number of pins, you have a couple of options:
- You can duplicate the pins you like on the Generate page and adjust their design
- Or you can schedule the remaining pins and then generate additional pins to reach your desired total for that period
Regarding credit usage, credits are used for more than just downloads or scheduled pins. Certain features—such as AI tools—also consume credits. You can read more about this here:

Please also note that if you delete a scheduled pin, the credit is not reinstated, as the system has already processed it.
