Month 2: Analyze & Optimize

Review what's working, double down on winners, and increase your volume.

After a full month of consistent pinning, it's time to look at your data. Go to your Pinterest Analytics dashboard and focus on two key metrics:

  1. Impressions β€” How many times Pinterest is showing your pins to users. High impressions mean Pinterest considers your content relevant.
  2. Outbound clicks β€” How many people are actually clicking through to your website. This is the metric that directly translates to traffic and revenue.

Pay close attention to which pin designs are performing well. Look at the templates, colors, images, and text styles of your top-performing pins. You'll want to create more pins that follow these winning patterns.

Adjusting Your Design Settings

Based on your analytics, go to the Generate page on Pin Generator and adjust your design settings. Select more of the templates that are working well for you, refine your color palette, and update your automation settings. Your saved settings will be applied to all future pin batches.

Increasing Your Volume

Now that your account has been consistently active for a month, you can start to gradually increase your pinning volume. Move from 5 pins per day up to 10 to 15 pins per day. Do this incrementally β€” increase by a few pins at a time over the course of a week or two rather than jumping from 5 to 15 overnight.
